experience in the global engineering and construction industry. His primary
areas of responsibility with his former employer (42 years until March 2009)
JGC Corporation based in Yokohama, Japan, were project office administration;
global proposal services; program management; project management technology;
management of project support services, including technology planning and IT
resources operations, contracting and commercial services, safety, health and
environmental stewardship, quality management; the administration of project
operations as staff to senior management; and management of division companies.
He was General Manager of JGC’s Project Services Division and a board member of
1,000 employee JGC Plant Innovation Co., Ltd. until 2002 when he shifted his
primary efforts to manage Japan’s national project management association.
